In 2025, Milpitas Boxing took its fight team national. Home grown athletes built from the ground up — USA Boxing ranked, tournament champions, and straight-A students who excel as much outside the ring as in it.
She started throwing punches at age three. Seven years later, Jaiya "Baby Flash" Chavez is one of the most decorated youth boxers in her weight class in the country — a USA Boxing nationally ranked athlete, Junior Olympics participant, and multi-tournament champion. A straight-A student at Milpitas School District, Jaiya carries herself in the classroom the same way she does in the ring: focused, disciplined, and built to win. Her idol is Clarissa Shields. Her trajectory says she's coming for her.
Diana Perez walked through the doors of Milpitas Boxing at age seven with something to prove. Four years later, she's USA Boxing nationally ranked at 95lbs, a tournament champion, and a straight-A student who handles the pressure of competition the same way she handles her schoolwork — with quiet, relentless excellence. Her favorite fighter is Canelo Álvarez, and if you watch her move in the ring, you'll understand why. "La Chicanita" is just getting started.
Bryan Roxas Jr. started training at Milpitas Boxing at age seven and has been making noise ever since. At just ten years old, he has already competed on multiple USA Boxing cards and represented the gym at the Sugar Bert Tournament in Pleasanton. A straight-A student and a relentless presence in the gym, Bryan brings an intensity to training that coaches notice — and opponents feel. The name "Milpitas Monster" isn't given. It's earned.
